4th NCR Medical Students' Summit entitled "PUSH: Defying Limits, Breaking Boundaries"
The Association of Philippine Medical Colleges- Student Network National Capital Region would like to invite ALL medical students to the 4th NCR Medical Students' Summit entitled "PUSH: Defying Limits, Breaking Boundaries". It will be held on September 19, 2009 at the PMA Building, North Ave., Quezon City.
The primary goal of the event is to promote healthy lifestyle and wellness to medical students; to make them advocates for their own health.
Other aims of the 4th Medicine Students' Summit are:
- To delve into the paradox of health among medical students and identify the gaps, with emphasis on smoking.
- To review the concept of wellness and components of a healthy lifestyle, with emphasis on good nutrition.
- To propose stress management techniques fit for medical students including music, sports, belly dancing and yoga relaxation techniques.
