The Association of Philippine Medical Colleges Foundation, Inc. will celebrate its 45th Annual Convention with the theme: Professionalism in Medical Education". This will be hosted by Cebu Institute of Medicine, F. Ramos St., Cebu City on February 8-11, 2012.

Please take note of the following particulars:

1.    The registration fee are as follows:

  • Pre-Registration fees (on or before December 15, 2011)

a.    PhP 7,000 for institution (for 3 delegates)

b.    PhP 2,000 for additional delegates

c.    PhP 1,800 for student delegates

 

  • On-site Registration fees

a.    PhP 7,500 for institution (for 3 delegates)

b.    PhP 2,000 for additional delegates

c.    PhP 1,800 for student delegates

 

2.    The meeting of the Deans will be held in the afternoon of February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lao Hall, second floor of the CIM building.

 

3.    We hope to receive from you the following on or before November 30, 2011:

a.    Souvenir Program Advertisement materials

b.    Copies of Student Researches for the Research Contest

c.    Your school entry to the program during the Welcome Dinner

d.    Completed RegistrationForm_CIM_020812

e.    2x2 picture of the Dean

CIM extends their warmest invitation to all medical schools to join them in making the 45th APMCFI Convention a success!

The APMCFI deadline of submission of Certificate of Completion of Internship (Pink form) and photocopy of Diploma or Certificate of Internship shall be on the 26th of January 2012.
Deadline of application to PRC: January 30, 2012.
Date/s of Examination: February 19-20 and 26-27

The list of prospective medical graduates who have been matched with their hospitals of choice for internship May 1, 2012 (1st round) has been released on December 22, 2011.

Results have been sent to all medical schools. AUGUST 2011 PHYSICIAN LICENSURE EXAMINATION RESULTS PDF Print E-mail

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,605 out of 2,131 passed the Physician (Complete, Finals and Finals with Prelims) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Cebu and Davao this August 2011.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examinations are, Dr. Miguel L. Noche Jr., Chairman; Dr. Florentino C. Doble, Dr. Restituto C. De Ocampo, Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Mildred N. Pareja and Dr. Jose Y. Cueto, Jr., Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examinations.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, August 22, 2011 but not later than August 26, 2011 at 4th Floor, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Annex Building, P. Paredes St., cor. N. Reyes St., Sampaloc, Manila. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Roxas Blvd., Manila.

Registration for membership with the Philippine Medical Association, Inc. (PMA) will start on Monday, August 22, 2011 at PMA Building, North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
